Capital raise and Commercialisation

We perform independent DD for investors as well as working with companies to raise capital. 

 Solentropy is currently working with several clients in this area.

Solentropy managed and directed a Class 3, TRL 2 technology, through the product development pathway and onto the market raising over $USD20m along the way.  

The company will be revenue-positive by the end of 2026.

Market research

We work with you anywhere from TRL 2-9.

Conducting market research, competitor analysis, competitive advantage identification, User Story development.

We then translate this through to User and Product requirements.

We translate your product into a User Needs if developing a Medical device.

Product development planning

We work with you to develop your product development road map, from Proof of Principal to Proof of Concept, to Alpha and Beta prototype.

We use world-standard PMBOK project management principles and take a risk-driven product development planning pathway.

We work with you to identify your risks, and turn these into requirements for product development (electronics, software, mechanical, industrial design etc), verification, and manufacturing plans.

We work with you to engage your technical staff, or product development companies and manufacturers.  Our team has worked with most of the known product development and manufacturing companies in Australia.

Intellectual Property i.d. and management

Although we are not IP lawyers, we can work with you to develop and understand your patent and IP landscape. For one customer, we developed advanced searches to generate a raw list of over 142,000 potential patents for review. A series of algorithms/formulas were developed to exclude patents based on various criteria, leaving 5,949 to be reviewed. 

Secondary tables, cross-referencing the main table, were used to perform additional analysis, patents were assigned to various categories for analysis, with a final list of 88 patents submitted for technical evaluation by the client with the objective of either eliminating them or referring them to a patent attorney. All were subsequently eliminated (no patent attorney needed)!

With significant input from Solentropy foreground patents were then developed and filed, these have now been granted worldwide and provided significant value inflection points for the company.

Quality Management system development

We have worked with several start-ups to define and develop the infrastructure for their Quality Management systems, including:

  • 14971 Risk management
  • 13485 Quality Management system components
  • 62304 software development
  • Configuration Management processes and systems
  • Design and Development procedures.
  • Preparation and management of auditors.

We have several staff who have developed QMS that have successfully gained 13485 certification.

Regulatory requirement identification and management

We can work with you on Class I-III regulations to identify your regulatory pathway, identify your regulations.

We can then work with you to map these regulations through your risk register, configuration management, requirements management providing full traceability through verification and validation.
